Tripura police conducted raid at border Golchakkar

Agartala: June 08: The police administration has been conducting special operations against drug and illegal activities in the city for the past few days. Police led by a sub-divisional police officer raided Jasim Uddin's house in the area adjacent to the border Golchakkar on Tuesday.

Police conducted a lengthy operation and recovered a bag. Later, the police also raided Jasim Uddin's rented shop in Battala Bazar. Police said the operation was being carried out on the basis of secret information about illegal activities. Police will not be able to comment on what was found in the raid. All matters will be informed at the end of the next investigation.West Police have arrested accused Jasim Uddin for investigation. It is believed that Jasim Uddin has been associated with illegal activities for a long time.

Meanwhile, four members of a family went to stop drug dealers in South Ramnagar area on Monday night and attacked. It is alleged that drug dealers injured four members of the same family. Police rushed to the area after the incident. The four were brought to IGM Hospital.

Four members of the family of Milan Qazi were seriously injured. A case was filed against Iqbal Mia and others at the police station on the same night. Milan Qazi said that they used to sit with alcohol next to their house every night. On Monday night, family members intercepted the drug programme. Then suddenly attacked them in an organized manner.
