By Discover Tripura Correspondent
Dharmanagar: June 09: "The state government will not indulge in anything illegal. That is why the people of Tripura have put me in the Chief Minister's seat", said Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb. He further said this government will not allow Syndicate Raj to spread their roots on the soil of Tripura in any way.

Today chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb  visited the Churaibari check post and noticed some irregularities here. The role of the concerned police station is not satisfactory. The administration has been directed to take action by identifying the employees or officers in charge of misconduct.

Most freight vehicles travel through Churaibari. The administration has been instructed to check 100 percent of the vehicles. For that, checking has to be done with proper digital system and scanning machine. So that any other thing, including drug paraphernalia, which is harmful to the state, cannot enter Tripura. Several cars were allowed to go straight without Checking. Seeing this Chief Minister has instructed to break the vicious circle behind it. The police have been given complete freedom to take necessary action against anything that is illegal. He said that he will not tolerate any laxity in other arrangements including checking of Churaibari check post.

The role of the Joint Transport Commissioner working at Churaibari is also unsatisfactory. He could not provide any information regarding  this matter, so, Chief Minister  instructed him to retire voluntarily. On this day, before he reached Churaibari, 96 vehicles passed through the check post. Chief Minister found out that not a single car was fine. Then he identified four of the 15 cars that were standing there and instructed me to inspect everything. It can be seen that two of the vehicles did not follow the rules properly. Fines are collected from them. Chief minster instructed to installed CCTV in entire area.

On the way from the helipad to the Churaibari check post, several stone crushers were spotted on the side of the road. He  have instructed the district magistrate to check whether they are valid or not. The state government sincerely wants small businessmen to earn in the state of Tripura. But the state government is working to ensure that it is not illegal.
