EM holds meeting with private school authorities

Agartala: June 10: Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath held a meeting with 17 private school authorities at Shiksha Bhavan on Thursday. This is because a number of private schools have been seen in the past days illegally cutting into the pockets of students and parents. Education Minister held a meeting so that the school authorities could not collect extra money in the corona situation.
After a lengthy meeting, the education minister said that he had met with private school authorities to find out what kind of school fees were charging from parents in the current Corona situation. School authorities have been urged to submit all reports to the education department by next Friday. The school authorities have been informed that the transport fee of the students has been reduced by 60 per cent at present. Since the educational institutions are closed, the cultural programs are currently closed in the educational institutions. There are calls for no money to be taken at present for cultural events. Also unnecessary 'no free so as not to be accepted from students and parents.
Last year in the Corona situation, the students have been informed to reduce the annual fees and tuition fees so that they can maintain it for the time being. Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath said that the parents of the students do not face any problem. Because private schools have a role to play in advancing education in the state. The main goal of the present government is to provide quality education.
He said that the government is taking more than one decision with this importance. The meeting was attended by various school authorities including Auxiliary School, Don Boss School, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavana, Sri Krishna Mission. Now it remains to be seen how much success the ministerial meeting of the concerned department has brought for the students and parents. Also present on the day were Education Department Director UK Chakma and other officials.
