Jiten Choudhury appointed as new state secretary

Agartala: Sept 19: The former MP and President of Tripura Upajati Ganamukti Parishod Jiten Choudhury was appointed as the party state secretary today. Party sources confirmed the news and said a formal announcement would be made soon. The decision was taken after CPIM state secretary Goutam Das had passed away.
Jiten has previously played an important role in the interest of the people as an MP in the East Tripura constituency. He was admirable in performing his duties as a soldier of the team. Moreover, as a leader, he has played an important role in the development of the common man and the tribal people of the state. As an MP or a leader, he went to the tribal people and tried to solve their problems by making them aware of their problems. He never hesitated to fulfill his responsibilities in the interest of the team. Therefore, in order to lead the party from the front, former MP Jitendra Chowdhury was given the responsibility of the party's state secretary.
Under his leadership, the CPI (M) will get new oxygen and unite the youth to defeat the fascist party and give a new sun to the people of the state.
