By Discover Tripura Correspondent

Agartala: May 19: A beneficiary conference was held on Wednesday at the grounds of Kanthalia Class XII School in Sonamura with the beneficiaries of the Prime Minister's Housing Scheme and the beneficiaries of the Prime Minister's Kisan Samman Nidhi. Former Chief Minister of the state Biplab Kumar Deb was present as the chief guest at this beneficiary conference.

The former chief minister was accompanied by Union Minister of State Pratima Bhoumik, MLA Subhash Chandra Das, district governor of Sepahijla, district council president and others. Speaking on the occasion, former Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb said “after resigning from the post of Chief Minister, many people thought that Biplab Deb would leave Tripura and move to Delhi. But he will not leave Tripura. In order to bring the BJP back to power in 2023, he will take to the streets again for the organization”.

To make “Ek Tripura Shrestha Tripura” he will work. No one can stop it. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has visited Tripura and said that Tripura will be made the best in the next five years. Biplab Kumar Deb also said that he will visit every booth in the coming days. He added that many in the opposition were happy with the resignation of the chief minister. But in reality nothing has ended. In the name of women's association, the communists have started a movement with women. But after the establishment of the present government, women did not have to make any movement. 33% reservation has been made for women in government service. 50% women are required in government posts. The present government is working in that direction.

Former Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb went straight to Sonamura Town Hall after the Lavarthi Conference on the grounds of Kanthalia Class XII School. There he exchanged views with the students of Kabi Nazrul Maha Vidyalaya. Biplab Kumar Deb said that greed is the cause of sorrow. It is good to hope but not to be greedy. Must have the courage to make decisions.

During his visit to Kathalia, Biplab Kumar Deb visited the houses of several beneficiaries of the Prime Minister's Housing Scheme in Kathalia Block area. He then moved to a local Anganwari center for the ICDS project.
