Agartala: May 20: The Chief Minister directed to take appropriate measures so that the patients undergoing treatment at GB Hospital do not have to stay without beds. The state chief minister Dr Manik Saha instructed the health department officials on a visit to GB Hospital on Friday. At one time many patients in the state would go abroad for advanced treatment.
Emphasis is placed on improving. Accordingly, new departments were introduced in GB Hospital. Specialist doctors are expected from other states. At the same time high quality machines are expected. The people of the state are already getting the benefits. At present, many patients are relying on GB Hospital for treatment instead of going abroad, he said.
During his visit to GB Hospital, the Chief Minister spoke to the patients undergoing treatment at the hospital and their families. The Chief Minister came to the hospital to seek medical treatment and was informed about the problems they were facing. The Chief Minister then spoke to the doctors and health workers of the hospital. The Chief Minister was informed about various issues by the doctors and health workers.
On this day, the Chief Minister visited GB Hospital and saw many patients lying on the floor of the hospital without beds. Later, while inspecting the hospital, the Chief Minister told reporters that the officials of the department have been instructed to take appropriate measures so that no patient undergoing treatment at GB Hospital should remain without a bed. He added that there are still some minor flaws. Those shots have been asked to be resolved immediately. The GB hospital is a little overcrowded. Even then the hospital environment must be maintained. GB hospital spends more money from private hospital. So everything is said to be used in the right way. At present the patients are getting good service from GB Hospital. The hospital's specialist doctors instructed the authorities to collect information on how many surgeries have been performed.
