Sudip urge people to come forward to save life: Blood donation

Agartala: May 21: The death anniversary of the Bharat Ratna, the epitome of modern India, late former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi celebrated with various programs every year. Tributes were paid in Tripura along with the rest of the country at the initiative of the Pradesh Congress.

On the 31st death anniversary of the late Bharat Ratna Prime Minister, various programs were held in the state on Saturday morning in front of the Congress Bhawan. They hoist the national and party flags in presence of state Congress president Birajit Sinha, former MLA Sudip Roy Barman and others. Later, the Congress leadership laid a wreath at the portrait of the late Prime Minister. On the same day, a blood donation camp was organized by the Sadar District Congress at the Congress Bhawan.Former MLAs Sudip Roy Barman, Ashish Kumar Saha, Sadar district president and others were present.

Speaking about the blood donation camp, Sudip Roy Barman appealed to everyone to come forward in such programs to save lives. There is shortage in the blood banks; medical services are being severely disrupted. So everyone came forward and requested to participate in the routine blood donation camp.

“Your blood donation can give a precious smile to someone’s face and get real blessings. I am sincerely and hearty appealing to youth and the general public t a large of our state to come forward and donate blood to overcome blood crisis in the state”, said Barman.

As a part of the blood donation camp Barman interacts with the donors. More than 75 people donate their blood.
