By Discover Tripura Correspondent

Agartala: June 21: The case filed by Bharatiya Janata Party will be dismissed because Congress candidate Sudip Roy Barman had called the East police station before going to Abhaynagar that day and said that he was going there. BJP goons are attacking Abhaynagar. 10 minutes after going there, the BJP goons attacked Sudip Roy Barman.

A complaint has been lodged with the Election Commissioner in this regard. It has been said that a case has been filed against the leader of the gang. The Election Commissioner said that the Election Commission had filed the case before the Congress filed the case against the accused BJP leader. This was stated by Congress observer Dr. Ajay Kumar at a press conference held at the State Congress Bhawan here on Tuesday. He said the Bharatiya Janata Party is a combination of thieves and thugs. The Congress wants the Bharatiya Janata Party to fight them for justice.

But he said the Bharatiya Janata Party's candidates and functionaries had no recourse to terrorism for fear of defeat. But no matter how much the BJP attacks, the Congress is not afraid because the Congress believes in the ideals and justice of Mahatma Gandhi. Congress does not follow the judgment of Nathu Ram Godse. Sudip Roy Barman called on all to support the Congress to ensure the victory of democracy and the victory of the people. He said after the campaign ended they would try to intimidate him but the Election Commission will be responsible for conducting the election peacefully.

Democracy will win, said Mr. Barman. Provincial Congress President Birjit Sinha said he hoped the candidates from all the three constituencies would win by a huge margin. The press conference was also attended by Szarita Laitphlang, Secretary of the All India Congress and other leaders.
