The TCS Officers Association stood by the flood victims

Agartala: June 30: The Tripura Civil Service Officers Association stood by the flood victims in Silchar. About Rs 10 lakh worth of food items were sent to the flood victims on Thursday. Silchar is under water due to heavy rains. There is water all around. Since June 19, Silchar has been completely flooded. After the dam broke and water entered Silchar. The house goes under water, there was extreme human suffering.

Water is still freeze in different places of Silchar. In this situation, the Tripura Civil Service Officers Association stood by the flood victims in Silchar. The organization sends various food items worth around Rs 10 lakh for the flood victims. Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha inaugurated the event by waving the flag and send the Lories uploaded with food items to Silchar on Thursday.

He said Tripura carries out various social programs along with the Civil Service Officers Association. The Chief Minister thanked the organization for standing by the flood victims. He hopes Silchar's condition will return to normal soon.
