Under trial shifted to hospital after mysterious illness

Agartala: June 30: Abukkar Siddiqui of Munsimura area was admitted to hospital on Thursday after falling ill inside the prison in mysterious circumstances. The incident took place at Bishalgarh police station on Thursday afternoon.
He was brought to the police station today on the charge of theft. It is learned that he was attacked by the people of the local Ambagan area before the police arrested him. He later became seriously ill at the police station. He was referred to Hapania Hospital from Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Hospital as his condition was critical.
