Student Pledge Day observed in the state

Agartala: Aug 09: The call for cancellation of the new National Education Policy was raised on the day of the Quit India Movement. On the same day, there was a demand to appoint necessary teachers in all the educational institutions of the state. The All India DSO All India Committee has taken up the program on Quit India Movement Day this year as well. The organization decided to observe Student Pledge Day from August 9 to August 15.

This week-long Student Commitment Day will be celebrated through various programs across the country. On Tuesday, a program was organized in Tripura under the initiative of AIDS. On this day, the organization took a protest program in front of Ujjayanta State Museum. The organization's leadership Mridul Kanti Sarkar and others were present. On the day of the Quit India movement, there was a seven-point demand, including cancellation of the National Education Policy, appointment of required number of teachers in various schools.
