BJP crossed the limit: Sudip

Agartala: Aug 09: “Every day BJP sponsored miscreants are strangling the democracy of our state. All around are violence, murder, terror and betrayal. Elders are being killed and bleed to death by BJP miscreants for the crime of joining the opposition party. Last night was no exception”, react Sudip Roy Barman today while he visits GB hospital to inquire the health. Terrorism of the ruling party's bike forces started in various areas of Minister Sushanta Chowdhury's assembly constituency from Monday evening. Many activists and supporters of several opposition political parties, including the Congress and the CPIM, were attacked.
75 years old Shukesh Saha of Ranibazar Debinagar of Majlishpur Assembly and Sudhir Das (65) of Mandai Sachindra Colony were beaten up for the crime of joining the opposition party. During the night, the miscreants of the ruling party ambushed Sudhir Das. Later, the family members took him to Ranir Bazar Hospital in bloody condition and the doctor on duty referred him to GB Hospital. He is currently undergoing treatment at GB Hospital. MLA Sudip Roy Barman, All India Congress Secretary Szarita Laitphlang, former state Congress president Gopal Roy and other supporters of Congress workers rushed to the GB Hospital on Tuesday afternoon after receiving the news.
Sudip Roy Barman strongly condemned the incident after inquiring about the physical condition of the injured Sudhir Das. He said, when the people of the country will celebrate the day of Quit India Movement and the 75th Independence Day and then at this moment a sample of Amrit Mohotsav that type of scenario was seen in the Minister's Assembly constituency, but brutality has its limits. Those who physically assaulted Sudhir Das would be younger than his grandson. The main reason for the attack was a Congress march in Jirania on Tuesday. But the police did not give permission on the pretext that there was a BJP function. So Barman alleged that he had organized such an attack with an attempt to kill.
The police are not even doing preliminary investigation of the incident despite knowing everything. He said that this seems to be an extreme deterioration of law and order. This kind of attack by the ruling party BJP is the worst. So people are told that no one should be afraid. Congress program will be held in Jirania area very soon.
