Government is serious about making Tripura a medical hub: Chief Minister

Agartala: Sept 25: The 18th foundation day of AGMC was held on Saturday. On this day, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp at KLS Auditorium of AGMC. Speaking at the event, the Chief Minister said, Agartala Government Medical College should not be looked down upon in any way.
Then Tripura Medical College was established. In 2005, Agartala Government Medical College got government approval. Setting up a medical college is not easy. Currently efforts are underway to establish a dental college. But what kind of problems are there to set up a dental college, the present government is slowly realizing. The Chief Minister today also said that the sub-health centers of the state will be upgraded to health and wellness centers immediately. So that people can get services from panchayat level. Health Secretary Dr. Debashish Bose, Director of Medical Education Prof. Chinmoy Biswas and others were present in the program organized on this day.Tags: Tripura Others
