Agartala: Nov 28: The government cannot guarantee that all work will be done and that all will be given jobs. Still, the government is trying to keep the promise of providing income from house to house before the establishment of the government. The government does not want to make any kind of excuse about jobs. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said that the government wants to move forward with a transparent policy.
With that aim, the government wants to present Tripura as the number one state to the whole country by modeling Gujarat. Besides, the government wants to increase the income through Self Help Group to make women self-reliant. In 2017-18 there were 4 thousand 153 self help groups, currently it has increased to 38 thousand 657. In 2017-18, an amount of Tk 4.96 crore was provided for self help groups. 5 07.36 crores are currently being paid. Chief Minister Shri Saha expressed the opinion that women are becoming self-reliant. Labor Department Minister Bhagwan Das, Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath, Social Welfare and Social Education Department Minister Santana Chakma and other administrative officials were also present in the organized event.
