Administrative Officers visit Puja Mandap

Agartala: Sept 20: On the occasion of the upcoming Durga Puja, the Agartala Municipal Corporation came out on Tuesday to check whether there are all kinds of security measures for the visitors including electricity system, drinking water, toilets and CC cameras in various clubs. Agartala Municipal Corporation was accompanied by officials and engineers of Tripura Fire Service, Tripura Police and Electricity department.
From this morning, they visited various puja mandaps of the city including Joynagar area of the city. They talked to puja entrepreneurs and workers. It is known whether mandap construction work is being done safely to avoid all accidents, especially since thefts have recently increased in the city, whether CCTV camera systems are being ensured. Also, proper provision of toilets and drinking water for the visitors has been directed. On behalf of the administrative team, the Pujo Mandap is already being monitored in the first phase. A few days before the puja, the puja mandap will be observed again for the second time. Because performing puja without security may cause problems for visitors. Over the past years there have been many accidents due to the eccentricities of concerned departments and entrepreneurs. Therefore, special importance is being given by the administration for the protection of the visitors.
