By Discover Tripura Correspondent

Agartala: Nov 20: Earlier, socialism was a bully in the face of communists, to do this now they are rejected by their people, Chief Minister Professor Dr. Manik Saha said this while addressing a public meeting organized by Bharatiya Janata Party Suryamani Nagar Yuva Morcha at Dukli of Suryamani Nagar assembly constituency on Sunday.

He said that many young lives had to be lost due to the wrong ideology of the communists in the 70s. But the ideology of Bharatiya Janata Party is the thinking of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, this group thinks for everyone. But communists always follow divide and rule policy. In his speech, the Chief Minister elaborated on why the present government has undertaken the Prati Ghare Suasan' campaign across the state from September 17 to December 25. At the same time, he also highlighted the steps taken by the present government to solve the common problems of the rural people of the state, the 'Amar Sarkar' portal.

He said that the administration will take steps to solve the common problems of rural areas which will be recorded in this portal within 10 days. The Chief Minister said that this portal is for the common people of the state to think of the present government as their own government.

Chief Minister Professor Dr. Manik Saha in his speech criticized the reign of the previous government and said that before 2018 there was a terror party government in the state. During the period of that government, the Bharatiya Janata Party had to continue its program in the Suryamani Nagar Legislative Assembly with many struggles.

He also highlighted some of his experiences in the gathering. He said that when he was given the responsibility to the Pristhapramukh of the party's headquarters in Urban District, he was able to collect the maximum 96 percent in this Suryamani Nagar Assembly constituency. Seeing this the top leadership of the party also praised.

In his speech, the Chief Minister vented his anger over the allegations leveled by the opposition on law and order issues. He said, because of them, sometimes there are problems in the law and order of the state. Law and order in the state has improved considerably during the current government. But common people have seen bomb blasts in schools and colleges in the state during the reign of communists, which is now closed. The Chief Minister also said that the present government is working on zero tolerance policy in the anti-narcotics campaign as per the directives of the Union Home Minister. He said Tripura has the second highest state in Northeast India in terms of seizure statistics.

While talking about government jobs and employment, the Chief Minister said that there is no work, there is no job, and these words are often heard in the mouth of the opposition. But just a few days ago, more than 3000 teachers who have passed TET have been offered. More than 6,000 State Police are in the process of recruitment for Special Executive posts. Employees are given 3 percent DA first and 5 percent DA later but earlier only subscription was collected from the employees. Regarding the social allowance of 2000 rupees, the Chief Minister said that during the previous government, social allowance was given at 700 rupees. During the current government, first Rs 1000, now Rs 2000. Another 3,000 people are in the process of being brought under the allowance under the Chief Minister's Social Assistance Scheme. Seeing the large attendance of common people in today's public meeting, the Chief Minister said that the good governance public meeting that the people of Surya Maninagar assembly constituency have done should be done in every assembly area of the state. He himself wants to organize such public meetings in his constituency Bardowali. He said, this huge attendance of the people signals that the Bharatiya Janata Party will form the government by capturing a large number of seats in the upcoming assembly elections.

Local MLA and Prisons Minister Ram Prasad Pal, BJP State General Secretary Kishore Barman, Mandal President M Manthu Debnath, Dukli Panchayat Samiti Chairman Ajay Kumar Das and others were present in the public meeting.
