Youth is the part for build a better India: Vice President

Agartala: Nov 29: Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar arrived in the state for the first time on Tuesday. On this day, he came to the state and took part in the seminar titled "Starting a new horizon for the development of the state's education system" organized at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan Hall under the initiative of MBB College. Apart from the Vice President, his wife Dr. Sudesh Dhankhar, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, Minister Ratan Lal Nath and others were present on the occasion. A video made on the development of education system of the state is presented. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha handed over bamboo products of Tripura to Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar as a gift. Minister Ratan Lal Nath presented the gift to Dr. Sudesh Dhankhar, wife of the Vice President.

Speaking at the seminar, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar said that India is the largest democratic country in the world. And India's foreign policy is made in the interests of India and Indians. Today the whole world respects India. It was not seen before. The future of every young woman is assured. Young women must be partners in building a better India. The Constitution contains fundamental rights. But with it comes a new basic duty. Appeal to all to come forward to fulfill basic duties.

He advised the students of the university to pursue education. He also said that education is the only resource that can take every human being forward.Culture is vibrant in Tripura. The Look East policy has begun to reflect in the North Eastern states. Government policy has now taken a new direction. The Vice President urged them to continue their thoughts in that direction. In terms of development in 2022, India is at the top of the world. He said that no other country could achieve this success.

On this day, the Vice President inaugurated an exhibition on the historical and cultural heritage of Tripura at MBB College. He left for the Raj Bhavan at the end of the MBB college ceremony. Special honors are given by a guard of honor at the Raj Bhavan, then had lunch at Raj Bhavan. In the afternoon, he and his wife left for Kolkata in a special Air Force plane.
