Agartala: Jan 21: A young man was seriously injured after being shot while fetching banana leaves in the forest. The name of the injured youth is Jaharlal Debbarma. The incident occurred in Gajapara area under Sidhai police station. He is currently undergoing treatment at GB Hospital. According to the details of the incident, on Saturday, Jaharlal Debbarma, a youth from Gajapara area, went to a forest near the house to fetch banana leaves for the Shraddha ceremony. At that time the miscreants opened fire.
Later, hearing Jaharlal Debbarma's screams, people rushed to the vicinity. The locals took him to GB Hospital. He is currently under treatment at GB Hospital.
