Firearms recovered: 1 arrested

Agartala: Jan 24: A pistol, two magazines and 46 rounds were seized by the airport police on the eve of the election. Firearms were recovered during the naka checking in Usha Bazar area on Tuesday evening.
According to the police, the police stopped two cars during the naka checking at around seven o'clock that day. Police, TSR and CRPF jawans searched the vehicle and managed to recover firearms. A person named Dhiman Das was arrested. His house is in Gandhigram area. The police seized two cars with the accused Dhiman Das. There were some people he knew in the other car. Police are interrogating the accused. There is also a case against the arrested person in West police station. It is believed that there is a secret behind it.
