The opposition party is not just to oppose: Animesh

Agartala May 17: Opposition party Tipra Matha met the Chief Minister with a question paper in Kakbarak language. Opposition leader Animesh Debbarma held a press conference after receiving assurances from the Chief Minister to solve the problem. He said, last Thursday, a letter was sent to the Chief Minister demanding that the question papers of the Central Board of Secondary Education be prepared in Roman script or in Bengali language.

According to that letter, there is an opportunity to meet the Chief Minister on Wednesday. The issue was discussed after meeting the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister has assured that he will form a committee to prepare question papers in Roman script and Bengali. Then he said that he will talk to CBSE after holding a meeting with the state holders. Animesh Debbarma also said that Kakbarak does not mean Tiprasa. Kakbarak is the second recognized official language of Tripura. Therefore, the opposition leader expressed hope that the Chief Minister will take a positive role in the matter.

He thanked the Chief Minister for informing about the services of Tripura Bhavans in various states by inaugurating the MLAs' accommodation a few days ago. The chief minister recently held a meeting with the secretaries of the concerned departments and ordered to take appropriate action based on the complaint. Animesh Debbarma also said that opposition does not mean only opposition. The main goal is to take the state forward by discussing the good and bad issues of the government. MLA Swapna Debbarma, MLA Vrishketu Debbarma were also present in the meeting with Chief Minister Animesh Debbarma, the opposition leader said.
