Launch of e-cabinet system a historic moment for Tripura: Chief Minister

Agartala, September 27: Launch of e-cabinet system is a historic moment for Tripura. After Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura is the fourth state to implement the e-cabinet system. Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha said this by pressing the button in the cabinet room of the Secretariat today. Apart from this, all the departments of the state government which have made e-office system 100 percent effective as part of the initiative to run paperless offices were honored today.
On this day, the chief minister handed over certificates to the heads of each department.
On this day, the Chief Minister said, currently our state is progressing in every field. In order to make the Central Government's Digital India campaign a success, the State Government has laid emphasis on expanding all possible measures to build digital infrastructure across the State.
According to him, the state government has decided to introduce e-office system in every department as part of digitization. Every department is working in mission mode to implement this program. The Chief Minister claimed that out of 94 departments/organizations, 41 departments have made the e-office system 100 percent effective.
The Chief Minister also said that the current era is the era of digitization. He expressed hope that the state government's digitization in every field will make everything easier for the future generations. Besides, all these programs will be helpful in forming One Tripura Shrestha Tripura. He said that the e-cabinet system has been introduced in the state in imitation of the e-cabinet system of Uttarakhand state.Tags: Tripura Others
