Congress MLA Proposes Urgent Discussion on Flood Situation in Tripura Assembly

AGARTALA: Sept 04: Congress MLA Sudip Roy Barman has proposed to the Parliamentary Affairs Minister that the current flood situation in Tripura be discussed in the Assembly with the Chief Minister present. However, no decision was made on this proposal due to the immediate need to commence the question-answer session.
The Chief Minister of Tripura is currently in Delhi for peace talks with the National Liberation Front of Tripura (NLFT) and the All Tripura Tiger Force (ATTF). The Assembly session began today. Consequently, Sudip Roy Barman has requested an urgent short-term discussion on the flood situation to be scheduled for tomorrow or Friday, in the presence of the Chief Minister.Tags: Tripura Others
