Shyamoli Paribahan Bus Attacked in Bangladesh, Indian Passengers Threatened

Agartala: Nov 30: A Shyamoli Paribahan bus traveling from Tripura to Kolkata was attacked on Bishwa Road in Brahmanbaria, Bangladesh. The Indian passengers on board were threatened with death. Transport Minister Sushanta Chowdhury has strongly condemned the incident on social media.
Today, Transport Minister Sushanta Chowdhury wrote on social media that a Shyamoli Paribahan bus traveling from Tripura to Kolkata was attacked on Bishwa Road in Brahmanbaria, Bangladesh. The Indian passengers on board were terrified.
He further wrote that the bus was passing through a certain section of Bishwa Road when a goods-laden truck deliberately rammed into it, trying to cause an accident. Simultaneously, an auto-rickshaw collided with the bus. After this incident, local people continuously threatened the Indian passengers on the bus. They shouted anti-India slogans and made abusive remarks, threatening to kill the passengers. The Indian passengers on the bus were terrified by this incident.
He strongly condemned the incident and urged the local administration to intervene immediately to ensure the safety of the Indian passengers on the bus.Tags: Tripura Others
